Duryog Nivaran's ongoing initiative, “Strengthening Inclusive Disaster Risk Governance for Climate Resilience in Asia (SIDRRA),” is dedicated to enhancing inclusive and resilient disaster risk governance across South Asia. On October 28th and 29th, a workshop was held in Kathmandu, Nepal, bringing together ground-level organizations from Nepal, Pakistan, and Bangladesh that have been awarded grants to implement projects on disaster risk reduction.
During this two-day workshop, participants engaged in discussions about various aspects of the project, including its core ideas, principles, actions, challenges, and opportunities related to inclusive disaster risk management. Additionally, the workshop focused on refining and aligning monitoring and evaluation frameworks with the emerging Regional Action Plan on Disaster Risk Governance.
The collaborative effort aims to empower organizations and strengthen their capacity to effectively address disaster risk in their communities.
