Kumudu Herath

Project Manager

Kumudu Herath is an environmental management and sustainability professional with over 10 years’ experience in development and corporate sectors. She currently oversees implementation of the SIDRRA project, guiding the team and coordinating partners. Her background includes seven years leading community-based conservation projects at IUCN Sri Lanka and spearheading sustainability initiatives at Stretch line Private Limited. She’s committed to advancing sustainable development and improving environmental performance.

Mohammad Obydul Haque Talukder

MEAL Coordinator

Mohammad Obydul Haque Talukder is a highly experienced MEAL professional with 16+ years in humanitarian and development, including 10 years in leadership roles across South Asia. He’s led MEAL systems for diverse programs (Shelter, WASH, Protection, etc.) with top INGOs, designing frameworks aligned with international standards (USAID, FCDO, etc.). His expertise spans data collection (mobile-based), analysis (SPSS, Power BI), and reporting, alongside CFRM implementation. Obydul holds an MBA and a B.Sc. in Computer Science, is MEAL DPro certifi ed, and fl uent in Bangla and English.He champions evidence-based practice, AAP, gender equality, and child rights.

Pritha Khanal

GESI Specialist

Pritha Khanal is a Kathmandu-based development professional with over 10 years of experience promoting gender equality, social inclusion, and resilience. Her work focuses on disaster risk reduction, gender-based violence prevention, and women’s economic empowerment. She’s skilled in program coordination, strategic communications, and partnership building, and advocates for a feminist approach to development. Pritha believes that gender equality strengthens communities and enhances resilience.

Sanam Altaf

Project Officer

Sanam Altaf is a Project Officer with extensive experience in social sector development, specialising in M&E and data-driven planning. Holding degrees in MIS, Electronics/Robotics, and Corporate Law, she brings a unique blend of technical, analytical, and legal skills to her work with organisations like UN IOM, Save the Children, and Human Appeal. Currently at Duryog Nivaran, Sanam focuses on disaster risk governance and climate resilience in South Asia, expertly designing and implementing M&E frameworks, and utilising diverse data analysis tools (ODK, KoBo, SPSS, Stata, Python, GIS). She is committed to inclusive, community-driven programs that benefi t vulnerable populations.
