Are we building back better - the final version of the South Asia Disaster Report 2016

Duryog Nivaran is pleased to present the final version of the South Asia Disaster Report (SADR 2016). This edition of the SADR concentrates on Build Back Better (BBB) and features case studies from across the South Asian region. It continues to be a Duryog Nivaran tradition to draw out lessons to improve disaster management that build resilience of vulnerable communities.

The report was launched at the South Asian Regional Workshop of the Global Network of Civil Society Organisations for Disaster  Reduction (GNDR) in Kathmandu, Nepal, on 21st December 2017.  The full report can be downloaded here.
